MAU NELFUND Data Capture Guide

Modibbo Adama University (MAU) has shared a memo for new students in the 2025 and 2026 session about steps needed before using the Nigerian Education Loan Fund portal. The notice explains how each student must fill an internal form so the school can place their records on the NELFUND server. This step affects all newly admitted students and helps prepare their files for later checks.

Data capture process for loan applicants

A memo signed by the Acting Director of ICT, Dr Munzali A. Abana, states that every new student must complete an institutional data capture form. This form helps the ICT team load each student’s biodata and admission details to the NELFUND platform. The process starts with the QR code shared in the notice or through the official link.

Steps before the NELFUND loan application

Students are asked to fill all fields with care so the upload runs well. The memo points out that this step does not count as the loan request. It only gives MAU the right to place the records online. After the upload is done, students can then move to the NELFUND portal and file their loan request.

The ICT Directorate encourages students to complete the form without delay so the loan process can move at a steady pace. Any student who needs help can visit the NELFUND Desk Office at the ICT Centre or write to the official email at nelfund@mau.edu.ng.
