The National Film Institute (NFI) in Jos, owned by the Nigerian Film Corporation, has opened applications for the post of Rector. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in film arts, media production, and the management of higher education institutions.
The NFI offers degree, diploma, and certificate programmes in Film Arts and Film Culture & Archiving Studies, and is affiliated with the University of Jos.

The appointment will be made by secondment. The initial term is for two years, and it may be extended for another two years, based on performance and approval.

The Rector will be placed on the Grade Level 17 under the Consolidated Public Salary Structure (CONPSS). This is one of the highest salary levels in public service in Nigeria.
