NYSC Certificate of Exemption for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed that Certificates of Exemption for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II have been produced and delivered to all Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) across the country. This marks the official distribution phase for graduates who were exempted from the one-year national service.
According to the NYSC management, the certificates have been dispatched to respective schools nationwide, and graduates are expected to collect theirs promptly to avoid future complications.
NYSC Certificate of Exemption Collection and Return Policy
All Corps Producing Institutions have been reminded of the NYSC policy that mandates schools to return any unclaimed Certificates of Exemption to the scheme’s headquarters six months after delivery.
This means that the six-month countdown began on 6th October 2025. Students who are yet to collect their exemption certificates should visit their schools as soon as possible to do so before the deadline expires.
Graduates are also advised to handle their certificates carefully once collected, as replacements require a formal process and proof of identity.
What the NYSC Certificate of Exemption Means
The NYSC Certificate of Exemption is an official document issued to graduates who, for valid reasons such as age or specific qualifications, are exempted from the national service year. It serves as proof that the individual has fulfilled the statutory requirement set by the NYSC Act.
Graduates are encouraged to keep this document safe, as it is often required during job applications, public service appointments, or for official verifications.
Final Note
The NYSC continues to maintain its schedule for certificate production and delivery across all participating schools. Graduates from the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II are advised to collect their Certificates of Exemption from their institutions before the six-month collection window closes.
