Undergraduate Options

The part-time degree programmes span four to five long vacation contacts, depending on your entry level. Courses available include:

For those seeking further academic qualifications, the following postgraduate diploma programmes are available:

UNIJOS Sandwich (Long Vacation Part-Time) Programme Entry Requirements

For Degree Programmes

There are two points of entry:

• Contact One (Year One): Candidates must possess at least five credits in SSCE, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Contact Two (Direct Entry): Applicants must hold a relevant NCE or Diploma with Distinction, Upper, or Lower Credit from a recognised institution. The programme must have been at least two academic years in duration, and candidates must also have five SSCE credits.

For PGDE and PGDTE

• PGDE: Applicants must hold a degree or HND in a relevant field.
• PGDTE: Candidates must have a degree, HND, or equivalent in Science, Technology, or Business Education.

How to Apply for UNIJOS Sandwich (Long Vacation Part-Time)

There are two methods:

Online Application

• Visit the UNIJOS application portal.
• The application fee is ₦10,000 for undergraduate forms and ₦25,000 for PGDE or PGDTE.
• Complete the form online and print it.

In-Person Application

• You can also visit the Institute of Education, Main Campus, Bauchi Road, and pick up the form at the Finance Office.
• An additional ₦2,500 processing fee applies when applying at the Institute.

All completed forms, along with photocopies of relevant academic documents, must be submitted to the Institute on or before 30 May 2025.
