Minimum UTME Score Required

First things first: if your JAMB score is anything less than 200, you’re not writing post-UTME here. Not this year.

UNILAG doesn’t do 180. Doesn’t do 199. It’s a straight cut at 200 and above, no favours. And if you didn’t choose them as your first choice, you’re not even in the running.

Understanding UNILAG’s Admission System

There’s a system. Three, actually:

• Merit: If you score high enough, no one cares where you’re from.
• Catchment: Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo. Being from one of these might soften the score bar just a bit.
• ELDS: If you’re from states considered underrepresented, you might benefit from adjusted thresholds. Might.

But even with that — no mercy if your score’s too far behind.
