To view the full list of admitted candidates, visit the UNN Direct Entry/JUPEB Admission List page.
Steps for Successfully Admitted Candidates
All candidates offered provisional admission are required to complete the following steps promptly:
1. Upload of O’Level Results
Candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal through an approved CBT centre if they have not already done so. Admission processing will not proceed without proper verification on the JAMB CAPS portal.
2. Change of Course (If Applicable)
Candidates recommended for admission into a course different from their initial JAMB application must visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to change their course to the one recommended by UNN. After the change, they should print their updated admission status from CAPS and submit it to the University Admissions Office for confirmation.
3. Acceptance of Admission on JAMB CAPS
Once the above steps are completed, candidates should visit the JAMB portal to accept their admission. Those who do not accept the offer will not receive an official JAMB Admission Letter and will be regarded as not admitted.
4. Payment of Acceptance Fee
Admitted candidates must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000).
To make the payment:
- Visit the UNN website or UNN student portal.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number to generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number.
- Pay at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank, using the invoice number.
- Obtain a confirmation slip showing your confirmation and invoice numbers.
5. Printing of Admission Slip and Completion of Acceptance Form
After payment, log back into the UNN portal using your JAMB registration number, confirmation number, and invoice number. Then print your admission slip and complete the online acceptance form.
6. Registration and Further Payments
Once the acceptance process is completed, proceed with other fee payments and registration steps as indicated on the University of Nigeria, Nsukka website.
All admissions are provisional. If at any point it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the Senate-approved entry requirements as listed in the JAMB Brochure, the admission offer will be withdrawn.
Closing Note
The management of UNN congratulates all successful candidates admitted through the Direct Entry and JUPEB programmes. The University encourages them to complete their registration on time and prepare for an engaging academic experience at one of Nigeria’s leading centres of learning.
