The Wema Bank Bankers in Training (BIT) Programme is open to young graduates who want to build a career in banking technology or sales. If you are passionate about digital tools, financial services, or client relations, this is your chance to join one of Nigeria’s most respected banks.
There are two tracks: one for Tech and one for Sales. Both offer training, real experience, and good pay with extra benefits.

Apply for the Tech Cohort
The Tech Cohort is for those who want to work in banking technology and digital solutions.
Who can apply
You must:
- Hold at least a Second Class Upper degree (or equivalent) in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Have completed NYSC with a valid discharge certificate
- Be 26 years or younger at the time of application
- Have five credits in WAEC, NECO or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Show interest in tech, digital banking, and problem-solving
Helpful skills
It helps if you are skilled in:
- Programming (Python, Java, C#, Node.js, etc.)
- Data analysis, visualisation, or product design
- Cybersecurity, cloud services, or AI and machine learning
- Product management or DevOps

- Keep up with market trends and new banking products
Who can apply
You must:
- Hold at least a Second Class Upper degree (or equivalent) in any subject
- Have completed NYSC with a valid discharge certificate
- Be 26 years or younger
- Have five credits in WAEC, NECO or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Show interest in sales, customer care, or financial services
