Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Academic Calendar for Second Semester 2023/2024

The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Academic Calendar for the remainder of the second semester in the 2023/2024 academic session has been released.

This announcement comes after the management meeting held by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments on 5th September 2024.

Students should take note of the key dates and plan accordingly.

AAU Revised Academic Calendar Second Semester 2023/2024

• Thursday, 26th September 2024: Students return to campus.
• Friday, 27th September 2024: Second Semester Lectures begin.
• Monday, 4th November 2024: Continuous Assessment for all students.
• Friday, 13th December 2024: Second Semester Lectures end.
• Monday, 16th December 2024: Second Semester Examinations start with GST and ENT courses.
• Friday, 20th December 2024: Christmas and New Year Break.
• Friday, 3rd January 2025: Students return to residence halls.
• Saturday, 4th January 2025: Continuation of Second Semester Examinations.
• Friday, 31st January 2025: Second Semester Examinations conclude.
• Thursday, 27th February 2025: Faculty of Board Examiners meet to consider results.
• Friday, 28th February 2025 to Wednesday, 5th March 2025: Resumption of new students.
• Friday, 7th March 2025: Business Committee of Senate meets to review results.
• Saturday, 9th March 2025: Returning students come back to campus.
• Monday, 10th March 2025: Lectures begin for all students.
• Tuesday, 11th March 2025: Orientation for new students.
• Friday, 14th March 2025: Senate meeting to consider results and end the academic session.
• Friday, 28th March 2025: Matriculation ceremony for new students.
