FG Scholarship and Education Bursary Awards 2025

The Federal Ministry of Education calls for applications for the 2024/2025 Nigerian Scholarship Award.

The scholarship supports full-time students in public universities, polytechnics, and monotechnics across Nigeria.

The goal is to help students continue their studies without financial worries.

Postgraduate applicants must:

• Hold a first degree with at least Second Class Honours Upper Division
• Be registered as full-time students in Federal or State universities

Undergraduate (UG) and Higher National Diploma (HND) applicants must:

• Be registered as full-time students in the second year or above in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, or Monotechnics
• Hold a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale, or 5.0 on a 7-point scale, or its match

HND applicants must:

• Hold a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale

All applicants must meet these rules to qualify.

Students with disabilities are also invited if they meet these conditions.

Understand the Bursary Award Rules

Students applying for the bursary must:

• Be registered students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education or Universities
• Be full-time students
• Be in their second year or higher
• Not hold any other scholarship
