FUTO Supplementary Post UTME Form Now Open for Applications

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has announced the availability of the Supplementary Post UTME form for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Candidates are required to submit their applications before 31 December 2024.

The application is open to those meeting the eligibility criteria provided below.

Who Can Apply

The following categories of candidates are eligible:

• Candidates who scored at least 40 in the FUTO Post-UTME screening but were not admitted through merit.
• Candidates who registered for the Post-UTME screening but did not upload their O’Level results.
• Candidates who did not take part in the earlier screening exercise but now wish to apply.
  • Such candidates must select FUTO as their first choice on JAMB CAPS.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Visit the FUTO official website.
2. Select the “School Portal” option.
3. Click on “Supplementary”.
4. Generate an invoice by entering your JAMB registration number.
5. Pay the application fee:
   • ₦15,000 for candidates who previously applied for Post-UTME screening.
   • ₦17,000 for fresh applicants.
6. Make the payment online or at a bank using the generated invoice.
7. Return to the portal and complete the “Application Form”.
8. Fill in your details correctly and print a copy of the form.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet these conditions:

• A minimum UTME score of 150.
• O’Level results must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS by 31 December 2024.
• Specific departmental aggregate scores and UTME subject combinations apply.

• The merit cut-off applies to all candidates irrespective of their state of origin.
• The catchment cut-off applies only to candidates from Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.
• Ensure details on the FUTO portal match those on JAMB CAPS to avoid disqualification.
• Refer to the JAMB brochure for correct subject combinations and SSCE requirements.
• The final application deadline is 31 December 2024.
