JAMB registers 2,243,816 candidates for 2026 UTME

Summary
JAMB says 2,243,816 candidates completed the 2026 UTME registration. It also released state figures and foreign country entries.
- Lagos recorded 321,814 candidates
- Kaduna recorded 303,498 candidates
- FCT (Abuja) recorded 302,963 candidates
- Rivers recorded 105,584 candidates
- Foreign entries came from 10 countries
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says 2,243,816 candidates were successfully registered in the recently concluded 2026 UTME registration exercise.
The Board also released the figures for each state; it listed registrations from foreign countries as well. Below is the full State-by-state count released by JAMB.
