LASUTH Opens Neonatal Ventilation Certificate Admission 2026
Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, has announced the start of admission for its Postgraduate Certificate Programme in Neonatal Ventilation for the 2026 academic session.
The programme is handled by the Centre for Advanced Neonatal Studies under the Neonatal Ventilation Academy. It is planned for medical doctors who want focused training in neonatal mechanical ventilation. The course is practical in nature and built around real clinical needs, so participants are expected to be active all through.
Who Can Apply
The certificate course is open to Medical Doctors with a basic medical qualification. Accepted degrees include MBBS, MBChB, MD, or any similar qualification from a recognised university. Only doctors who meet this condition will be considered.
Programme Duration and Award
The training will run for three months on a part-time basis. Participants who complete the programme and pass the final assessment will receive a Postgraduate Certificate in Neonatal Ventilation awarded by LASUTH. The workload is steady, so applicants should plan their time well.

As part of the selection process, applicants will sit for a Computer Based Test at LASUTH. Those who pass will be invited for an oral interview, checking of original documents, and medical screening. A certificate of medical fitness will also be issued at this stage.
