UNILAG DLI 3rd batch admission list 2025/2026 is out

The Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos (UNILAG), has released the 3rd batch admission list for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Successful applicants are to confirm their admission status via the UNILAG DLI admission list page, then proceed for screening at the Administrative Unit (2nd Floor, DLI Building); screening is a required step.

Batch Three screening: date, venues, and time

The Batch Three screening exercise will commence on Monday, 16 February 2026.

Screening venues

  • Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Distance Learning Institute Building, University of Lagos
  • Block A, Class Room, Ground Floor, Distance Learning Institute Building, University of Lagos

Screening time

  • 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

Documents required for the screening exercise

Candidates are to present the following documents for screening:

  • Application form
  • Testimonial (Primary or Secondary) (Original)
  • O’Level certificate(s) (Original)
  • All higher degree certificates for Direct Entry (e.g. HND, OND, NCE, ICAN and other professional certificates)
  • NYSC certificate/NYSC exclusion or exemption certificate (Direct Entry)
  • Birth certificate/sworn affidavit that predates the admissions advertisement
  • Marriage certificate, affidavit for change of name, and newspaper classification (Married female only)

Documents required for registration after payment of required fees

After payment of the required fees, newly admitted students will need these documents for registration:

  • Application form
  • Admission letter (Coloured and laminated)
  • Testimonial (Primary or Secondary) (Photocopy)
  • Student information form
  • O’Level certificate(s) (Photocopy)
  • All higher degree certificates for Direct Entry (e.g. HND, OND, NCE, ICAN and other professional certificates)
  • NYSC certificate/NYSC exclusion or exemption certificate (Direct Entry)
  • Online generated letter of acceptance
  • Online generated biodata form
  • Online course registration form approved by course adviser
  • Letter of preparedness to pay all service charge (Handwritten and signed by applicant)
  • A reference letter from employer or sponsor (Original)
  • A reference letter from any of: a lawyer, clergy, imam, or senior civil servant
  • Online generated student payment receipt
  • Marriage certificate, affidavit for change of name, and newspaper classification (Married female only)
  • Birth certificate/sworn affidavit that predates the admissions advertisement
  • Photographs: passport size, white background (4 copies; name and matriculation number on reverse side)
  • JAMB slip

One-month window and fraud warning

Failure to comply and appear for the screening exercise within one month may lead to forfeiture of admission; candidates should Move early.

Newly admitted candidates are advised to be vigilant and beware of fraudsters, as the University does not engage third parties or agents for admission processing. For enquiries, candidates are to visit the office of the Institute Secretary for clarification.
