FUTO Post UTME and DE Form 2025/2026 Now Available
The FUTO Post UTME and DE Form for the 2025/2026 academic session is now available.
The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for its admission screening exercise. If you selected FUTO as your first choice—or plan to switch—and meet the entry criteria, now is the time to act.

FUTO Post UTME and DE Form 2025/2026: Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the FUTO Post UTME and DE Form, you must meet the following requirements:
UTME Candidates:
- Must have scored 150 or above in the 2025 UTME.
- Must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025.
- Must have five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects.
- MBBS applicants must obtain all five credits in a single sitting.
- Must have selected FUTO as their first choice. (If not, candidates should change their institution to FUTO via the JAMB Portal before applying.)
Direct Entry Candidates:
- Must possess a minimum of OND, HND, A-Level, or First Degree in a related discipline.

Important Pre-Application Notes
Before applying for the FUTO Post UTME and DE form, please take note of the following:
- JAMB subject combinations must match those listed in the JAMB Brochure for your selected course.
- You must upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS by 24th August 2025. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
- Your email and phone number must be valid and active for communication.
- No physical/paper applications will be accepted. All steps are online.
- Inconsistent records between JAMB and your application form will result in automatic disqualification.
How Much Is the FUTO Post-UTME Form?
The application fee is ₦2,000, payable through the Remita platform using ATM cards or by generating a payment slip for use at any commercial bank.
How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME and Direct Entry 2025/2026
Follow this step-by-step process:
- Visit the FUTO Application Portal.
- Generate Invoice
- Click on “Prospective Students.”
- Choose “Undergraduate”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
- Make Payment
- Pay ₦2,000 using a debit card online or print your RRR and pay at any commercial bank.
- Return to Portal
- Click “Application Form.”
- Log in using your JAMB Reg Number.
- Complete the online form.
- Upload all required documents (O’Level results, passport photo, etc.)
- Print Your Acknowledgment Slip
- This is proof of registration and will be required during physical screening or admission follow-up.
Application Deadline
The online application portal will remain open from Wednesday, July 23rd, to Sunday, August 31st, 2025.
There will be no extension—once the deadline passes, the portal will automatically close.
Final Warning
- Missing transcripts (for DE applicants) or failure to upload O’Level results to JAMB CAPS will automatically disqualify you.
- Double-check all information before submitting.
- Avoid submitting inconsistent data across JAMB, WAEC/NECO, and FUTO forms.
