UI Post UTME and DE Form 2025/2026 | Admission Guide

The university of Ibadan – UI Post UTME and DE Form for the 2025/2026 academic session is now available.

The University of Ibadan (UI), Nigeria’s premier university, has opened its admission portal for both Post UTME and Direct Entry candidates. If you scored 200 and above in the 2025 UTME and selected UI as your first choice, this is your chance to begin the next phase of your admission process.

UI Post UTME and DE Form 2025/2026: Who Is Eligible?

To apply for the UI Post UTME and DE Form, you must:

Score 200 or above in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
Select the University of Ibadan as your first choice during the UTME registration process.
Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025.
Have a minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics.

For the College of Medicine and Pharmacy:

All five O-Level credits must be obtained in one sitting.

For Other Courses:

A maximum of two sittings is allowed, but candidates must have at least six relevant credits.

Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

WAEC / NECO A-Level
Cambridge A-Level
NCE, ND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree from recognised institutions

Note: UI does not accept IJMB and JUPEB results for Direct Entry.

UI Admission Registration Process

UI Post UTME and DE Form applications open on Monday, 21 July 2025, and close on Saturday, 17 August 2025. There will be no deadline extension, so act promptly.

Step-by-Step Guide

Visit the UI Undergraduate Admission Portal
Log in with the following details:
- Username: Your JAMB Registration Number (e.g., 202512345678AB)
- Password: Your surname in uppercase (e.g., ADEBAYO)
Make Payments:
- Portal Access Fee: ₦3,000
- Screening Fee: ₦2,000
- Payment options:
  - Online via ATM card
  - Bank transfer
  - Bank deposit (with generated printout)
Print your payment receipt – This serves as your proof of payment.
Please upload the necessary documents and complete your application form.
Confirm that your email and phone number are valid, as this is how UI will contact you with your exam details.

UI Post UTME Screening Date

The University of Ibadan will conduct its Post UTME screening test from:

🗓 Monday, 25 August to Wednesday, 27 August 2025

Candidates will receive an email or SMS with their specific exam date and time. You must check your mail regularly and be present on your assigned date.

Important Admission Notes | UI Post UTME and DE Form

All O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal.
Only candidates who meet both the UTME and O’Level subject requirements will be considered.
All registrations must be completed online—no in-person submissions or paper-based applications are accepted.
Use accurate personal details (name, date of birth, email, phone number, etc.) to avoid disqualification.
