The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has opened its admission portal for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants. If you chose UNN as your first choice in JAMB and scored 160 or above, you are eligible to apply.

Application Opens for UNN Post-UTME Screening

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), invites all qualified candidates to participate in its 2025/2026 admission screening exercise. This screening applies to both UTME and Direct Entry applicants who meet the eligibility requirements.

Who Should Not Apply?

UNN has clearly stated categories of candidates that will not be considered:

Candidates who are below 16 years of age by 30 September 2025.
Candidates who are still waiting to write the Nov/Dec 2025 NECO or GCE exams.
Candidates with name mismatches between O’Level results and JAMB records.

UNN Post UTME/DE Form Fee

The application fee is ₦2,000 (non-refundable). Payment can be made:

Online using an ATM card (via Remita).
At any commercial bank branch using the generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

Closing Date: Friday, 22 August 2025 (by midnight).

There will be no extension. Late applications will not be processed.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Visit the UNN official website.
Click on UNN Portal (top right of the homepage).
Select Prospective Students.
Click on the Online Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening.
Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
Generate and print your payment invoice.
Pay the ₦2,000 fee either online with your ATM card or at a bank.
Return to the portal and log in again with your JAMB number.
Fill in your details, including date of birth, verified O-Level results, exam number, and centre.
Upload the required documents (each not more than 100KB).
