Ekiti State University, EKSU in affiliation with  Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto-Ijanikin, Lagos - Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo - Kwara State College of Education, llorin - Kwara State College of Education, Oro and Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun post UTME / admission screening forms for admission into full-time bachelor degree programmes for 2016/2017 academic session are out. Anybody with a UTME score of 180 and above can apply.

This is to inform all UTME candidates who have applied for admission into the affiliate Colleges of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), for the 2016/2017 academic session that the on-line capturing of required information for screening exercise will take place between Monday 5th to 16th September 2016.

The University will also give consideration to UTME candidates who did not make EKSU their choice but scored 180 and above in the last UTME and are interested in the affiliate colleges ofthe University.

The management of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) invites suitably qualified candidates for admission into her full-time Bachelor Degree Programmes, in Affiliation with:

(i) Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto/ljanikin
(ii) Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo
(iii) Kwara State College of Education, llorin
(iv) Kwara State College of Education, Oro
(v) Osun State College of Education, II a Orangun.

EKSU AFFILIATED DEGREE ADMISSION - ELIGIBILITY.

(a) Admission by Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME); Candidates must satisfy the following minimum requirements:

  1. Five Credit Passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) obtained at not more than two sittings
  2. Five Credit passes in Teacher Grade II Examination including English Language,
  3. Candidates must have written and passed the 2016 UTME conducted by the JAMB,
  4. Candidate’s score at the last UTME (2016) must not be less than the prescribed national cut-off mark i.e 180.

(b) Direct Entry Candidates: 3-year full-time Programme Candidates must satisfy the following minimum entry requirements: 

  1. Passes at Credit/Merit level in two subjects at the NCE with GCE ‘O’ Level credit or its equivalent in three subjects, including English Language. A pass at the NCE General English is acceptable in lieu of credit at the SSCE/GCE/Olevel.
  2. Two passes at the advanced level GCE with SSCE/GCE ‘O’level credit passes in three other subjects including English Language, 
  3. Pass at the NCE with GCE ‘O’level credits or its equivalent in five subjects including the NCE courses,

Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the University.

EKSU AFFILIATED DEGREE PROGRAMMES ADMISSION - METHOD OF APPLICATION.

1. Visit the University PORTAL site: www.eportal.eksu.edu.ng and click on Admission Screening for Affiliate Colleges
2. Specify your choice of College and Course of Study. The Colleges are

(i) Aden iran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto/ljanikin
(ii) Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo
(iii) Kwara State College of Education, llorin
(iv) Kwara State College of Education, Oro
(v) Osun State College of Education, II a Orangun.

3. Download Transaction Reference. The downloading will require you to supply Jamb Registration Number (UTME Number), Names and select the bank you wish to pay to.
4. Take the Transaction Reference to any branch of the selected bank for payment.
5. After payment, visit the University PORTAL on site: www.eportal.eksu.edu.ng to fill in the required details including your results, upload scanned copy of your certificates and 1″ x 1″ colour passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only (Note use your Transaction Reference as PIN to open the screening forms)
6. Detailed results from at most two of the following examinations, SSCE, NECO and
NABTEB should be provided.
7. On completion, preview, confirm and Printout Screening Summary Report.
8. Proceed to your College of choice with the printed out for further information
