The scholarship features two distinct categories to ensure equitable access for students from different local government areas:

• Category 1: Igueben, Igueben LGA
• Must be an indigene of Igueben, Igueben LGA, Edo State
• Enrolled in a STEAM programme at a public institution in Edo State
• Minimum CGPA of 2.5 (on a 5.0 scale)
• Female students and vulnerable groups are strongly encouraged to apply
• Category 2: Other Edo State LGAs
• Must be an indigene of any Edo State LGA (excluding Igueben)
• Enrolled in a STEAM programme at a public institution in Edo State
• Minimum CGPA of 3.5 (on a 5.0 scale)
• Female students and vulnerable groups are strongly encouraged to apply
