University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Management has clarified the approved registration fee for Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations.

The approved fee remains ₦250 per course, contrary to reports that some students paid ₦500 per examination.

In an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar on August 5, 2026, the university explained that the approved CBT fee was earlier communicated in a circular dated July 27, 2026.

• Students who paid ₦500 instead of the approved ₦250 will receive refunds for the excess amount

Management urged affected students to remain calm while the refund process is being arranged.

The university also advised all students to ensure they pay ₦250 only per CBT examination, as this is the officially approved fee for the current examination period.

The notice was signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Blossom E. Okorie, and serves as a guide to prevent further overpayments during the CBT registration process.
