The University of Jos has issued strict guidelines for the upcoming 2025/2026 Second Semester examinations, set to begin on Monday, August 10, 2026.
According to an internal memorandum dated August 7, 2026, students without identity cards are required to collect them immediately, as only students with valid ID cards will be allowed to sit for examinations.
A zero-tolerance policy on examination malpractice has been emphasized. Invigilators are expected to be highly vigilant, and Heads of Departments must ensure that senior academic staff supervise examination sessions. Furthermore, Deans and officials from the Directorate of Academic Planning and Management will conduct routine monitoring to ensure compliance with examination regulations.
The university has urged both staff and students to remain security conscious and promptly report any suspicious activities to the Chief Security Officer.
The Committee of Provost, Deans and Directors concluded by wishing all students success in their examinations and expressing hope for a malpractice-free examination period.
