Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, established in 2025 by the Federal Government of Nigeria, has commenced admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the University's various degree programmes.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Prospective candidates seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session and those interested in any of the newly approved programmes are advised to visit the JAMB portal and effect a Change of Course to their preferred programme through the JAMB CAPS platform.

Candidates who did not initially select the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia as first-choice institution are required to:

• Effect a change of institution to the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia through the JAMB CAPS;
• Upload their 'O' Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS);
• Print evidence of the change of Institution.

UTME Candidates

All candidates must have taken the 2026/2027 UTME Examination and obtained a minimum score of 170 and obtained five (5) relevant O'Level Credits including Mathematics and English in not more than two (2) sittings.

DIRECT ENTRY

Direct Entry admission candidates must have completed JAMB Direct Entry form, obtained five (5) relevant O'Level Credits including Mathematics and English at not more than two (2) sittings and an A/Level result (IJMB, National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit and Cambridge A/Levels result).

2026 SECOND POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

The University management is pleased to inform prospective candidate that the 2026 post-UTME screening exercise is scheduled to take place on 17th – 19th August 2026.

METHOD OF POST UTME REGISTRATION

• Applicants should visit https://fuask.edu.ng/portals/Application and create an account if they have not done so already by clicking on New Applicant.
• Once an account has been created, you will be required to pay the application fee of ₦2000 on the portal.
• You can pay with your ATM card directly or generate RRR and pay through bank.
• Upon successfully completing the payment transaction, you can access the online application through your dashboard. Fill and submit all the forms. Note that you will not be able to submit if you do not complete all the forms.
• Print and submit the completed forms to the University's Admissions Office on the day of the screening.
