This marks the end of the session for most full-time undergraduate students, with the exception of certain faculties that have received prior approval from the Senate to extend their examination period.
The 2026/2027 academic session is set to commence on 5th October 2026, beginning with the clearance and registration process for new students. Returning students will resume two weeks later.
The Dean of Students' Affairs will provide detailed information and guidelines regarding the vacation of halls of residence for the outgoing session, as well as the application process for hostels in the incoming session. Additional details will be made available on the university's website as necessary.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Edoba B. Omoregie, SAN, and the University Management extend their appreciation to all staff and students for their hard work, cooperation, and sacrifices, which contributed to a successful and smooth academic session.
