Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has opened its Post‑UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The exercise welcomes eligible 2026 UTME and Direct Entry applicants who wish to enroll in undergraduate programmes at AKSU.
UTME aspirants must have selected AKSU as their first‑choice and attained a minimum score of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
The university’s notice states that online registration opens on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 and ends on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. Applicants are urged to finish the process before the cut‑off, as anyone missing the window will be excluded from admission consideration.
The fee for the screening registration is ₦2,000, not including any bank charges. Payments may be submitted via debit card or bank transfer.
Prospective students should go to the AKSU application portal at https://aksu.edu.ng/app/, click “START NOW”, pick “Enrol”, select “PUTME”, input their JAMB registration number, and then complete payment and upload the required files.
Candidates still awaiting O’Level results may still submit an application, provided they have correctly uploaded their WAEC or NECO results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
The university also cautioned candidates against interacting with any person or agent offering to sell admission slots, emphasizing that AKSU does not employ any individual or sales agents for admissions.
