Benue Education Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) announces Common Entrance Examination for BASIC 7 admission into the Exchange Schools of the Nineteen (19) Northern States.

The board has scheduled a Common Entrance Examination to select candidates for Basic 7 entry into the Exchange Programme Schools across the nineteen northern states.

Parents/Guardians who wish their ward to be admitted into Exchange Programme Schools are to bring them for the Common Entrance Examination as scheduled:

Interested parents or guardians should ensure their children attend the exam on the announced date and location.

Date: Saturday 22nd August, 2026

The test will be held on Saturday, 22 August 2026.

Venue: Government College, Makurdi

Candidates will gather at Government College in Makurdi.

Time: 9.00 am Prompt

Examination will commence promptly at 9:00 a.m.

NOTE:

Participation in this exercise does not incur any cost.

Forms will be made available at the venue of the entrance examination.

Application forms can be collected on-site at the exam location.

Candidates are to come along with the following:

• Writing materials
• Two passport size photographs
• Photocopy of indigene certificate
