This notice is addressed to all candidates who gained admission via UTME or Direct Entry for the 2026/2027 academic year. The university will begin the clearance exercise on Monday, 31 August 2026. Every newly admitted student must follow the streamlined clearance steps laid out in the automated system. Applicants are to appear at their respective Faculty Conference Halls each morning at 9:00 a.m. to start the clearance process for their departments and faculties.

Please be aware that the clearance will be carried out in a decentralized fashion, using both online and on‑site modes to maximise speed and accessibility.

Requirements and Procedure:

1. Login to JAMB CAPS:

• Accept the admission offer and print a colour copy of both the JAMB admission letter and the result slip. The admission letter will be authenticated, and only candidates who show a printed and verified version of these documents will be entered onto JAMB’s National Matriculation List.

2. Pay Acceptance Fee:

• Settle the acceptance fee of ₦50,000.00 through any of the following electronic channels: Pay‑Direct, MasterCard, or Verve. The payment is to be made on the portal enterpriseschoolsportal.iaue.edu.ng, where receipts will be cross‑checked.

3. Update Bio‑Data:

• Enter accurate personal information and any other required details on the university’s online portal.

4. Observe Deadline:

• The cut‑off for confirming admission on JAMB CAPS and paying the acceptance fee for merit‑listed applicants is Monday, 7 September 2026. Failure to meet this deadline—by not accepting the offer, not paying the fee, or not completing clearance—will result in the reversal of the admission offer.

5. Proceed to Faculty for Clearance:

• Starting 31 August 2026, report each day at 9:00 a.m. to your Faculty Conference Hall with the documents listed below for verification and clearance.

• University Provisional Admission Letter from the IAUE portal

• Original JAMB Result Slip downloaded from the JAMB website
• Original JAMB Admission Letter downloaded from the JAMB website
• Registration for Screening payment receipt from the JAMB website
• National Identification Number (NIN) slip from the NIMC portal
• NIN slip of sponsors and phone number (required for applicants aged 16‑18)
• Age Declaration or Birth Certificate
• Local Government Identification Certificate
• Four‑file jacket (student file) obtainable at the university bookshop
• Four passport‑size photographs
• O’Level results (NECO, WASC)
• NCE, OND, NABTEB results (only for Direct Entry candidates)
• Identify Card Clearance Form from the IAUE portal
• Bio‑Data printout from the IAUE portal
• Additional clearance items:

• Unique Student Services (USS) from the IAUE portal
• Original Certificate verification from the IAUE portal

Summary of Guideline:

1. Complete Online Fee Payments:

• All required fees must be settled online before heading to the Faculty Conference Hall for either physical or virtual clearance. Ensure every document mentioned on page 2 of the guideline is in hand.

2. Verify JAMB Documents:

• Admission letters and result slips from the JAMB portal will be scanned via QR code, then stamped and signed at the ICT desk.

3. Admissions Unit Clearance:

• After the Admissions Unit validates the applicant, the system will automatically issue a Clearance Approval Notice from the Admission Office.

4. Faculty Clearance:

• Once the faculty clears the student, a Faculty Clearance Approval Notice will be generated by the portal.

5. Final Submission:

• Print both the Admission and Faculty Clearance Approval Notices and place them inside the four‑file jacket before handing the file to the Faculty Officer.

6. Campus Communication Network Registration:

• Students must acquire a Glo SIM card and register it for the Campus Communication Network (CCN) through ICT/Glo staff at the designated registration point.

7. School Fees Payment:

• After successful clearance, candidates may proceed to pay their school fees online.

8. Completion of Registration:

• The steps above mark the end of the registration process for those admitted for the 2026/2027 session.

Important Notes:

• Applicants who decide not to accept the offer should log into their JAMB CAPS accounts and formally decline the admission.
• Students admitted to the Faculties of Vocational and Technical Education and the Faculty of Agriculture are required to complete clearance at the Rumuolumeni Campus (Department of Home Economics, Tourism and Hospitality Building). After finishing there, they should move to the Ndele Campus to start their academic programmes.
