Adeleke University, located in Ede, Osun State, has issued a warning to prospective undergraduate and JUPEB candidates about fraudsters who are demanding money from applicants under the pretense of guaranteeing admission.

The university reported receiving several complaints that individuals are asking hopeful students for cash, claiming they can secure a place at the institution.

It clarified that the university never sells admission slots and does not handle undergraduate or JUPEB admissions through any agents, middlemen, WhatsApp groups, or persons purporting to have special connections.

According to the statement, anyone requesting personal payments or promising to “help secure a spot” is not acting on behalf of Adeleke University.

Applicants are urged to rely solely on the university’s official channels for all admission‑related matters.

The university cautioned that any website or platform other than the two listed above does not represent Adeleke University.

Prospective students were also instructed to ensure that all financial transactions are directed only to the university’s designated account, and to avoid sending money to personal accounts or to anyone claiming they can “process” or “sort out” their admission.
