The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria has given its approval to the calendar for the 2025/2026 Special Resit Examination. The decision was taken during the Senate’s 565th Regular Meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

According to the Special Bulletin released by the university, the detailed timetable for the Special Resit Examination is outlined below.

Special Resit Examination Schedule

Registration:

• Monday, November 16 – Saturday, November 21, 2026 (Duration: 1 week)

Revision:

• Monday, November 16 – Saturday, November 28, 2026 (Duration: 2 weeks)

Examination:

• Monday, November 30 – Saturday, December 5, 2026 (Duration: 1 week)

The university also confirmed that the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year will officially conclude on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Students are expected to commence the first semester of the 2026/2027 session on Monday, January 4, 2027.
