The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation (RTEF) announced that it is now accepting applications for its 2027 scholarship initiative, which aims to provide monetary support to qualified Nigerian learners at various stages of their academic journey.
According to the organization, the intake period began on 1 October 2026 and will remain open until 31 October 2026. Prospective and eligible applicants are urged to submit their materials before the closing date.
The purpose of the scholarship scheme is to lessen financial obstacles that hinder education and to empower students from under‑privileged backgrounds to reach their scholarly objectives.
Recipients who meet the selection standards may be granted financial aid covering tuition, living expenses, and other approved education‑related costs, varying according to the specific scholarship track.
For instance, the postgraduate award can include a tuition subsidy of up to ₦100,000 together with a maintenance grant of up to ₦20,000.
The technical and vocational grant similarly offers a tuition allowance of up to ₦100,000 and a maintenance component of up to ₦15,000.
Additional allowances may be approved at the discretion of the scholarship committee based on individual circumstances.
All applications for the 2027 Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation scholarships must be received by 31 October 2026.
The foundation has indicated that those who are shortlisted will start receiving notification letters from 11 November 2026, with interview sessions slated for December 2026.
Applicants are advised to thoroughly examine the eligibility criteria for their chosen scholarship category before completing the submission process.
Interested parties should navigate to the foundation’s official scholarship portal, select the desired scholarship track, review the stipulated requirements, and fill out the online application form.
