The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE) in Akamkpa, Cross River State, has pushed back the start of classes for every student to Friday, 27 November 2026.
The University Senate gave its approval for this change during an emergency session convened on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, where the timing of the upcoming academic term was reviewed.
A memorandum bearing the signature of University Registrar Amb. Gabriel O. Egbe, Ph.D., confirms that the revised date is applicable to the entire student body.
The Registrar explained that the postponement is required so the campus can accommodate the NYSC Batch C Orientation Course on its grounds.
Newly admitted students are encouraged to take advantage of the additional time to finish their online admission steps, settle acceptance fees and clear any other outstanding charges.
The Committee of Deans is presently drafting an updated academic calendar for the new session, and the university has indicated that the finalized calendar will be released once it receives the necessary approvals.
All students should note the new start date and monitor the university’s official communication platforms for any further notices.
Resumption Date: Friday, November 27, 2026.
