The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) disclosed that its Postgraduate School admission portal will be reopened for a three‑week period covering the 2026/2027 academic session.

An internal memorandum dated 20 October 2026 indicates that the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Academic) gave approval for the portal to be accessible from Monday, 19 October, through Saturday, 7 November 2026.

This extension aims to provide candidates who missed uploading required documents or purchasing application forms during the original window with another chance to finish their submissions.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to use the extra time to buy their application forms, finish their online applications, and submit all necessary documents before the deadline.

The institution notes that the portal will shut down on Saturday, 7 November 2026.

Deans, department heads and other relevant university officials have been asked to circulate this information broadly among prospective applicants and other interested parties.

Postgraduate hopefuls are urged to finalize their applications prior to the closing date.
