The Students' Union Government leadership at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, formally notifies all FUNAAB students and the wider community about a significant update concerning the payment of school fees.
Following discussions with university management, the union leadership confirms that the institution has approved a two‑installment fee schedule, allowing students to remit 60 % of their charges first, with the remaining 40 % due later.
Under this scheme, pupils can settle 60 % of their tuition upfront and defer the balance of 40 % to a later date. The university plans to embed this option into the online fee portal shortly and will alert students once it is operational.
The union notes that any student who does not clear the remaining 40 % will be barred from sitting the second‑semester exams. Learners are urged to arrange their finances accordingly to prevent disruptions during the exam window.
The leadership advises students who have applied for NELFUND not to rely on an early payout for fee payment, as the fund is not anticipated to be released until the following year. Those with outstanding balances should consider other financing options instead of counting on a premature disbursement.
The union reaffirms its commitment to updating FUNAAB members on matters that impact their studies and wellbeing.
Leaders also encourage every student to circulate this information among peers so that everyone stays well‑informed. Patriots never stay silent! Aluta Continua!
The office emphasizes that this notice serves as official guidance for all parties involved.
