The management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASUED) has announced a new date for its 17th convocation ceremony.
The event, which was earlier postponed, will now hold on Thursday, 29 January 2026.
According to the university, the adjustment became necessary, and the management expressed sincere regret over any inconvenience the postponement may have caused students, parents, guardians, and invited guests. The university also appreciated the patience and understanding shown by all stakeholders during the period of uncertainty.
TASUED clarified that all plans and arrangements communicated before the postponement remain unchanged. Graduands and guests are therefore advised to continue to follow the earlier guidelines, as there have been no major alterations. A detailed programme of events will be released in due course.
The 17th convocation will also form part of activities marking the university’s 20 + 1 anniversary, making the ceremony particularly significant. It is expected to be a memorable and proud moment for graduands, their families, and the entire TASUED community.
The notice concluded with the university reaffirming its appreciation for the continued support of students, staff, alumni, and friends of the institution.
