Kwara State University has released an adjusted academic calendar for the conclusion of the 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester and the upcoming Rain Semester. This adjustment aims to streamline all academic activities, including result considerations and senate approvals, for the current session.

The Harmattan Semester 2025/2026 will continue with examinations from March 24th to 26th, 2026. Departmental consideration of results will take place on March 30th, 2026, followed by faculty consideration on April 2nd, 2026. The Board of College Studies (BCoS) will consider results from April 8th to 14th, 2026, and the senate will approve and officially release results on April 22nd, 2026.

The Rain Semester 2025/2026 will commence on April 6th, 2026, with lectures and an add/drop course registration window open until April 20th, 2026. A mid-semester break is scheduled for May 28th to 29th, 2026, and continuous assessment (CA) week and make-up examinations will take place from June 1st to 6th, 2026. Lectures will end on June 27th, 2026, followed by a revision week from June 29th to July 4th, 2026, and Rain Semester examinations from July 6th to August 1st, 2026.

Following the examinations, the final semester processing will begin with departmental results consideration on August 12th, 2026, faculty consideration on August 14th, 2026, and BCoS results consideration from August 17th to 22nd, 2026. The senate will approve and release the final results on August 31st, 2026. Students are advised to adhere strictly to the provided dates.
