The Office of the Dean of Students’ Affairs at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic has officially announced the inauguration ceremony for the newly elected officers of the Students’ Union Government and members of the 12th Legislative Assembly for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a circular dated 13th April, 2026, with reference number AKP/R/S/100, all students and the Polytechnic community were informed that the inauguration will take place as follows: Date: Wednesday, 15th April, 2026 Venue: Polytechnic Library Conference Hall Time: 1:30 pm

The circular further directed that all elected officers and students are expected to be seated at the venue by 1:15 pm before the commencement of the inauguration. The statement read, “I am directed to inform all Students and indeed the Polytechnic Community that the inauguration of the newly elected officers of the Students’ Union Government and Members of the Parliament will hold as follows.”
