The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2014, is located in Ukana, Km 5, Ikot Ekpene-Abak Road in Essien Udim Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. The institution operates on two campuses, Main and the Annex, with five schools. All academic programs have been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

In line with the Federal Government's directives to enhance manpower development in polytechnic education, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions. The available positions include Chief Lecturer, Principal Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I, Lecturer II, Lecturer III, Assistant Lecturer, Technologist II, and Instructor.

The required departments for academic staff include the School of Applied Science, School of Engineering Technology, School of Business Administration, School of Environmental Studies, and School of Communication Arts. Various qualifications and requirements are specified for each position, including PhDs, Master's degrees, and relevant work experience.

For non-teaching staff, positions are available for Procurement Officer I, Confidential Secretary I, Higher Stores Officer, Senior Craftsman, and Health Record Assistant.
