The Delta State Colleges of Nursing Sciences have officially begun accepting applications for the 2026 academic session. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Programme at various campuses, including Agbor, Asaba, Eku, Warri, and Sapele.
To be eligible, prospective candidates must meet specific academic and institutional requirements. These include achieving a minimum score of 150 in the UTME and changing their preferred institution to one of the Delta State Colleges of Nursing Sciences campuses at a JAMB accreditation centre. Applicants must also be at least 16 years old and possess a WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB result with a minimum of 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings for WAEC and NECO, while NABTEB results must be achieved in only one sitting.
The registration process involves several steps. Firstly, candidates must make a non-refundable payment of N20,500 at any Zenith Bank branch using the account details: Account Name - Ministry of Health, Dept of Nursing and Midwifery, Account Number - 1015649624. After payment, candidates should obtain a bank teller as proof of transaction. Next, they should take the bank teller to the Bursary department of their chosen college to obtain the physical application form, which contains a unique online application ID. Candidates must then visit the official portal at www.dscns.ng to complete their application, entering the unique Application ID, uploading their passport photograph, and filling in their data. Finally, they should save and print their completed form online with the generated QR code and submit photocopies of the form and the online printout to their chosen college.
The computer-based selection screening is scheduled for 15th August, 2026, at 9:00 am. Candidates under Eku, Asaba, and Sapele campuses will take the exam at the West Gate ICT Centre, while those under Warri and Agbor campuses will take it at the Delta State Library. Candidates must bring the original copy of their form and the online printout containing the QR code to the designated venue on the exam date.
