The University Management has been made aware of a flyer circulating on social media, promoting a purported 'Official Sign-Out Party' scheduled for Thursday, 19th June 2026, in Igboelerin. This event features the image of the Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM.

The University Management wishes to state unequivocally that neither the Vice-Chancellor nor the University has any involvement, knowledge, or affiliation with the planning, execution, or sponsorship of this event. The use of the Vice-Chancellor's photograph and name on the flyer was done without the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.

Members of the University community, particularly graduating students, parents, and the general public, are informed that the event is not an official university programme and is not endorsed or supported by the University.

The University strongly dissociates itself from the event and shall not be held liable for any security breaches, financial losses, or adverse incidents that may arise from attending this event.
