The Office of the Registrar at Taraba State College of Nursing Sciences, Jalingo, has announced the start of the UTME online screening exercise for admission into the National Diploma (ND) in Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

To be eligible, candidates must be between 16 and 35 years of age at the time of application. Applicants must possess at least 5 credits in their O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) obtained in not more than two sittings. The required subjects include Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. It's worth noting that NABTEB results can only be combined with another NABTEB result. Candidates must have scored 160 and above in the 2026 UTME and must have chosen the College as their first choice in the 2026 UTME.

The application process involves visiting the College website at www.tarabascnm.edu.ng/portal/application, creating an account on the College portal, and logging in with a username and password. A non-refundable payment of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only is required for the UTME online screening via ATM CARD. The form should be filled carefully and submitted online, noting that result verification scratch cards must not have been used more than three times. After submission, candidates should print their payment slip, UTME screening form, and acknowledgment letter.

A physical verification exercise is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 18th August to Friday, 21st August, 2026, at 8:00 AM daily at the College premises. Candidates are required to come along with the printed application documents, National Identity Card or Slip, O'Level Result Checking card or PIN, and the originals and photocopies of all relevant credentials.
