The Federal University of Lafia has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. All candidates who applied for admission into the university's degree programmes are required to register online.
To be eligible for the screening, candidates must have at least five O'Level credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. They must also have a JAMB UTME score of 170 and above, with higher scores required for certain courses.
The registration exercise will commence on July 6, 2026, and close on August 30, 2026. Applicants are required to pay a screening fee of N2,000. To register, candidates should visit the university's website and follow the procedure outlined below.
The registration procedure involves creating an account, logging in, and filling out the required information. Candidates will also need to verify their O'Level results and make payments. The payment options include online payment, bank branch payment, USSD, internet banking, and e-wallet.
After successful payment, candidates will be redirected to a page where they can continue with their registration. They will need to verify their payment and upload their O'Level results. A summary of the application and payment receipts can be printed out for reference.
All candidates, including those from the Federal University of Lafia Remedial and IJMB programmes, must participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise to be considered for admission. Candidates are advised to follow the registration procedure carefully and wait for notification of admission.
