The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has begun accepting applications for Inter-University Transfers for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
This development was made known through a memo by the Senior Deputy Registrar, Senate and Admissions, Dr. Abdussobur Salaam. The application process is scheduled to start on Monday, July 13, 2026. A non-refundable application fee of ₦50,000 is required, which includes REMITA charges.
To be eligible, applicants must currently be registered students at a recognized university in Nigeria. They must also have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Prospective transfer candidates are required to have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5.00-point scale for Agricultural programmes. For Engineering and Science programmes, a minimum CGPA of 3.50 is required, based on the second semester of the current academic session. Additionally, applicants must ensure their official academic transcripts are sent to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Interested candidates should visit the University's Admissions Portal at admission.funaab.edu.ng. They are to carefully read the guidelines for Inter-University Transfer, access the portal using their JAMB Registration Number on their JAMB Admission Letter, complete and print the online application form, and submit the completed form to the Senate and Admissions Unit.
The University has advised prospective applicants to ensure they meet all the stipulated requirements before submitting their applications.
