Compulsory Documentation Exercise for Freshmen

The management of Bayero University, Kano, has announced a compulsory documentation exercise for all newly admitted undergraduate students. This exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 20th July to Friday, 31st July, 2026.

Details of the Exercise

The documentation exercise will be held at the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records, located at the New Campus of Bayero University, Kano.

Required Documents

All concerned students are expected to report to the venue with the originals and photocopies of the following documents:

• JAMB Admission Letter
• Bayero University Admission Letter
• JAMB Acknowledgement Slip (for Direct Entry candidates only)
• BUK Direct Entry Screening Acknowledgement Slip (for Direct Entry candidates only)
• JAMB Result Slip (for UTME candidates only)
• A-Level Statement of Result (for Direct Entry candidates only)
• Printed copies of O' Level result(s) (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or equivalent) with the appropriate Result Checker Card(s) attached
• Primary School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial (optional)
• Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
• Completed Undertaking Form
• Evidence of Payment of Acceptance Fee
• Certificate of Medical Fitness
• Two (2) recent passport photographs

Important Notice

Students are advised to ensure that all documents are complete and arranged in the order listed above to facilitate a smooth documentation process. The documentation exercise is mandatory for all newly admitted Level 100 and Level 200 undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to complete the exercise within the stipulated period may affect the processing of registration and other academic records.
