The Kaduna Polytechnic management has issued a warning to all graduates, students, and the general public regarding a fake flyer circulating on social media.

The flyer in question claims to be an important announcement from the polytechnic, stating that graduates need to pay a certain fee for the collection of their original certificates.

The Office of the Dean, Students Affairs, has come out to debunk this claim, stating that:

• The polytechnic management has not issued any directive regarding the payment of N35,000 as an original certificate collection fee.
• The flyer does not have any official letterhead, stamp, signature, or reference number from Kaduna Polytechnic.
• Graduates are advised to ignore the content of the flyer and not make any payment to any individual or account based on it.
• Any official communication on certificate collection fees or processes will be made through verified channels, including the polytechnic's official website, notice boards, and approved administrative offices.
• The polytechnic is not liable for any loss of funds or personal data arising from acting on this or similar fraudulent publications.
