Ambrose Alli University has organized a one-day sensitization programme to educate final year students on the implementation of the Nigeria Education Repository Databank (NERD) Plagiarism Policy for Undergraduate Projects.

The event is scheduled to take place on the following date and time:

• Date: Monday, 3rd August, 2026
• Time: 10:00am prompt
• Venue: Cordelia Agbebaku Auditorium, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Purpose of the Programme:

• To introduce departments to the NERD Plagiarism detection framework.
• To outline the roles and responsibilities of HODs and NERD'S Departmental Representative in enforcing the policy.
• To demonstrate how to use the NERD repository for project submission and verification.
• To discuss challenges and share best practices for maintaining originality in undergraduate research.

Attendance is mandatory for all final year students, as it will be taken on a department-by-department level during the sensitization programme and will serve as a prerequisite for graduation.
