Kano State Polytechnic has issued a directive to National Diploma students who encountered issues with their SIWES registration details.
The students in question are required to provide their correct commercial bank account information to their respective departments. This is to facilitate the payment of their SIWES allowances.
According to the institution, some students inadvertently provided wallet account details such as OPay, Moniepoint, and PalmPay instead of commercial bank account details while completing SIWES Form 8. This mistake could potentially hinder the processing of their allowances.
The directive is applicable to affected students from the 2021/2022, 2022/2023, and 2023/2024 academic sessions. These students can verify if their names appear on the published list.
The institution has instructed all concerned students to submit their correct commercial bank account details on or before Wednesday, July 29, 2026. It is imperative that students adhere to this deadline to avoid any delays in the payment of their SIWES allowances.
Students are also advised to check the published list to confirm whether their names are included and to comply with the directive promptly.
The notice was signed by Auwal Ismail Bagwai, Head of Public Affairs, on behalf of the Registrar, and was published in July 2026.
