Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto, has given a directive to candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The directive is for candidates who chose the university as their first-choice institution and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry candidates.
According to the university, candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal. This includes results from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, and other recognized exams. The upload must be done at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
Candidates are required to have at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
For candidates who did not initially choose Shehu Shagari University of Education as their first-choice institution, they are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre. There, they can process a Change of Institution and make the university their first choice.
The university has stated that only candidates who have successfully uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB portal will be considered for admission processing.
For further enquiries, candidates can contact the university via info@ssues.edu.ng.
Candidates are advised to ensure their O’Level results are successfully uploaded on the JAMB portal to avoid being excluded from the admission processing.
Use the JAMB interactive forum to discuss topics of interest.
