Rivers State University has commenced supplementary applications for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Supplementary applications are available for all programmes, excluding:

• Law
• Medicine and Surgery
• Nursing
• Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Marine Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Petroleum Engineering.

Candidates who did not meet the cut-off marks for their preferred programmes are advised to apply for supplementary admission to explore other options.

To apply, candidates must access their Candidate Application Portal at https://apply.rsu.edu.ng and complete the supplementary application process by September 6, 2026.

The University has clarified that only candidates who changed their programmes on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Central Admissions Processing System before July 4, 2026, were considered for admission.

Candidates who changed their programmes after July 4, 2026, are advised to proceed with the supplementary application.
