The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has called on all NELFUND beneficiaries for the 2025/2026 academic session to remain calm, emphasizing that there is presently no requirement to submit any refund application.

The SUG Directorate of Information and Public Relations explained that the university’s ICT Unit, in collaboration with the Bursary Department, is actively engaged in verifying eligibility and processing refunds for qualified beneficiaries.

According to the press release, concerted efforts are underway to ensure that every eligible beneficiary receives settlement prior to Monday.

Students are therefore urged to stay composed and focus on their examinations while the refund procedure reaches completion.

Beneficiaries who have not obtained their settlement by Monday are instructed to visit the NELFUND Desk Officer’s office for further assistance.
