The Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has published its provisional admission roster for the 2026/2027 academic year. All aspirants who took part in the recent admission screening are advised to verify whether they appear on the list of successful candidates.

How to Verify Admission Status

The roster is now accessible through the JAMB CAPS portal. Follow the steps below to confirm your status:

• Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and sign in using the email address and password you registered with.
• Select the option labeled “Check Admission Status”.
• Choose “Access my CAPS”.
• Click on “Admission Status” to view whether an offer has been made.

Possible Outcomes

If your name is on the list, the system will display your photograph together with a congratulatory message confirming the offer. Conversely, if no offer has been generated yet, the portal will return the phrase “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet”.

Accepting or Rejecting the Offer

Applicants who receive an admission offer must communicate their decision via SMS. Send the word ACCEPT or REJECT to either 55019 or 66019 from the mobile number linked to your JAMB profile. You have a four‑week window to submit your response. Those who cannot access the registered phone number should visit a JAMB‑accredited centre to record their acceptance or rejection.

Important Follow‑up Actions

After confirming acceptance, candidates should print the admission letter immediately. The printed document will be required during the clearance and registration processes at the university.

Technical Note for Mobile Users

Mobile browsers may not display the “Admission Status” option, showing only a welcome screen instead. To see the full page, switch to desktop mode—Chrome is recommended. In Chrome, tap the menu and select “Request desktop site” to load the complete interface.
