The Federal College of Education, Ididep, situated in Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State, has officially launched its admission drive for National Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Qualified applicants are welcomed to submit their applications for a wide range of NCE courses offered across the institution’s various schools and departments.

Eligibility

Applicants must have achieved at least four O’Level credit passes in subjects relevant to their chosen field of study. English Language is mandatory for programmes under Arts and Social Sciences, while Mathematics is essential for Science tracks. Vocational and Technical Education programmes also require the appropriate subject credits.

Acceptable qualifications comprise WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, BECE or any equivalent O’Level results, provided they were obtained in no more than two examination sittings.

Mode of Entry

A JAMB/UTME examination or any UTME score is not a prerequisite for entry into these NCE programmes.

Nevertheless, candidates who sat for the 2026 JAMB/UTME will have their results converted to align with the NCE admission pathway.

How To Apply

Prospective students should complete an online registration for the 2026/2027 intake via the JAMB Professional Registration Centre located at the College’s Admissions Office.

During registration, applicants must submit their National Identification Number (NIN), original academic credentials, passport-sized photographs, JAMB access code, and any other documents stipulated by the college.
