This notice serves to inform the public that the College of Nursing Sciences at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) in Akwa Ibom State is now accepting applications for its ND/HND Nursing programmes for the academic session 2026/2027.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have achieved a minimum UTME score of 150 in the 2026 examination.
• The College of Nursing Sciences, UUTH, must be listed as the first choice on the candidate’s JAMB form.
• Prospective students should be at least 16 years old on or before 30 November 2026.
• Those who have transferred their institution to the College of Nursing Sciences, UUTH, via the JAMB portal are also qualified to apply.

Required Subjects

• Candidates need to hold credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, obtained in no more than two sittings of WAEC, GCE, SSCE or NECO examinations.

Method of Application

• Interested individuals must secure the Post‑UTME application form after paying a non‑refundable fee of N30,000.
• Payment should be directed to the Bursary of the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
• Applicants are required to bring three coloured passport‑size photographs, photocopies of all academic credentials and a printed copy of their JAMB result when they register.
• The collection period for the application forms starts on Monday, 5 October 2026 and ends on Thursday, 22 October 2026.

Post‑UTME Screening Exercise

• The screening test is slated for Saturday, 24 October 2026 and will be conducted in the Auditorium of the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
• The examination will commence promptly at 9:00 am.
• Candidates must present proof of fee payment, their registration slip and the printed JAMB result on the day of the test.
